PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power supply plug warning label which is used to easily identify the purpose of the plug and is manufactured at a low cost. SOLUTION: One or both surfaces of a stripe-like label 21 are made into a message writing section 22 and a holding section 23 is formed at the tip of the label 21. A warning message such as "Please do not unplug, or TV will not work." or the like is to be written on the message writing section 22. The holding section 23 is formed with a prescribed angle, for example a 20°to 30°angle, with respect to the message writing section 22. A slit groove 25 having a prescribed width is formed on the holding section 23 and projecting and recessing parts 26 are formed on the slit groove 25 portion. The holding section 23 is to be inserted into a base section 19a of a power supply plug 19 or a power supply cord 20 and the width of the slit groove 25 is formed slightly narrower than the width of the base section 19a of the power supply plug 19 or the power supply cord 20.
