<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To more exactly estimate the time to continue the communication pause in a radio station. <P>SOLUTION: A radio station 10 estimates the time taken for sending its request to a WWW server unit 50, and adds the estimated time and the information transmission time taken for transmitting information in the server unit 50. The addition result is a time not needed for the radio station 10 to communicate with a gateway unit 30, i.e., a pause time taken for continuing a communication pause. When the gateway unit 30 informs the radio station 10 of the pause continuing time, it immediately changes from the communication executing state to the communication pause to keep the communication pause until the time elapsed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
