FIELD: ironmongery, particularly door handles. ^ SUBSTANCE: production method for door handle having round cross-section includes cutting blank; shaping blank in two perpendicular planes to impart required shape to it; cooling blank after shaping; creating thread on handle ends for fastening member connection when assembling door handing. Door handle is formed of polyvinylchloride tubes. Blank shaping is carried out by two-step thermal shaping: the first step involves uniform heating blank up to 100-160oC from each sides thereof and the second step includes shaping heated blank in forming apparatus. After that shaped blank is cooled, drawn out from forming apparatus, trimmed and thread is cut on ends thereof. ^ EFFECT: increased method simplicity. ^ 11 cl, 16 dwg, 14 ex |
