PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a DC motor in which a cost rise can be suppressed, and the generation of an electromagnetic noise can be reduced without lowering mountability in a vehicle. SOLUTION: The DC motor includes an insulating material 16 for protecting an armature conductor 13 in the slot 12a of an armature core 12, which is increased in thickness as compared with a conventional article to increase an impedance between the armature conductor 13 and the armature core 12 (film thickness of powder coating: 0.1 mm to 1 mm). Thus, the armature conductor 13 is concentrated at the central part in the slot 12a in the radial section of the armature core 12 and mounted. On account of this, since a distance between the armature conductor 13 and the armature core 12 can be secured larger than a prior art and the impedance between the armature conductor 13 and the armature core 12 is increased, noise current (common mode current) flowing from the armature conductor 13 to the armature core 12 is reduced to suppress the generation of the electromagnetic noise.
