<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce cost and weight, to make steering force heavy in a neutral state of a steering wheel, and to make steering force light when steering the steering wheel. <P>SOLUTION: When the steering wheel 2 is held at the neutral position, a shaft side bypass port 14d is communicated with a body side bypass port 16d. A part of hydraulic fluid supplied from a hydraulic pump 6 is returned to a reservoir 10 side from a bypass passage 30 via the shaft side bypass port 14d and the body side bypass port 16d. The hydraulic fluid amount flowing into a supply port 16a is reduced. When the steering wheel is steered, port communicating area of the body side bypass port 16d and the shaft side bypass port 14d is gradually reduced, the hydraulic fluid amount returned to the reservoir 10 side from the bypass passage 30 via the shaft side bypass port 14d and the body side bypass port 16d is gradually reduced, and the hydraulic fluid amount flowing into the supply port 16a is increased. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
