PEDICLE SCREW COMPOSED OF A SCREW ROD, A HEAD UNIT WITH A U-SHAPED GROOVE AND A COUPLING UNIT

PURPOSE: A pedicle screw is provided to fix a screw spike to the pedicle screw in a convenient and stable manner by using a coupling unit including a rod support and a bolt coupled into a single unit. CONSTITUTION: A pedicle screw comprises a screw rod(100) inserted in and fixed at a pedicle; a head unit(200) formed on the top of the screw rod, wherein the head unit has a U-shaped groove(210) and a screw portion(220); and a coupling unit(300) to be coupled to the screw portion. The screw rod has an empty space formed in an interior thereof, and injection holes(110) formed at an outer surface thereof. The injection holes penetrate through the empty space of the screw rod. A supply hole for supplying a bone cement is formed at the U-shaped groove. The coupling unit has a bolt(310) to be coupled to the screw portion, and a rod support(320) with an inverse U-shaped groove(321) and a pair of stoppers(322) which get caught at a guide groove(230) of the head unit. The bolt and the rod support are coupled with each other into a single unit.
