<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a block from being extracted in a block type (internal circulating type) ball screw device. <P>SOLUTION: This ball screw device comprises a screw shaft having a screw groove formed in the outer peripheral surface thereof, a nut in which the screw shaft is inserted and having a screw groove formed in the inner peripheral surface thereof, a plurality of balls installed between the screw groove of the screw shaft and the screw groove of the nut and forming a ball row arranged in a spiral state, and a block having a circulation passage for circulating the balls from one end to the other end of the ball row. The block comprises a bar-like member buried, from the the outer peripheral surface side of the nut, in an opening passed from the outer peripheral surface to the inner peripheral surface of the nut and inserted into a pair of holes formed in the opposed side wall surfaces of the opening.
