PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a base material for pressure-sensitive adhesive sheets, a base material for pressure-sensitive adhesive tapes and pressure-sensitive adhesive sheet, each excellent in uniform expandability and having adequate tensile strength, flexibility and transparency. SOLUTION: The base material for pressure-sensitive adhesive sheets consists of 10-50 wt.% hydrogenated block copolymer composed of a polymer block mainly consisting of at least one vinyl aromatic compound and a polymer block mainly consisting of at least one conjugated diene compound to which hydrogen is added and 90-50 wt.% polyethylene-based resin mixture composed of (2) 70-50 wt.% linear low-density polyethylene resin and (3) 30-50 wt.% polyethylene-based copolymer containing≥12% one or more kinds of monomer units selected from vinyl acetate, methyl methacrylate, ethyl methacrylate and (ethyl acrylate-maleic anhydride).
