PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an actuator, including a driver which can be easily fixed and which can be easily fixed, even when a plurality of layers are provided. SOLUTION: The actuator includes the driver, an electrolyte and paired electrodes. The driver contains a conductive polymer and has a shape of an endless band-like or ring stage. The actuator engages the driver with a plurality of supports. Or, the actuator includes the driver, the electrolyte and the paired electrodes, in such a manner that the driver is a winding containing the conductive polymer.
