<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle door opening/closing device capable of preventing a door from being unexpectedly opened by misoperation, and reliably performing the operation to start opening/closing of the door. <P>SOLUTION: The vehicle door opening/closing device S comprises a door opening/closing drive unit 40 to open/close a door 52, an operation unit 10 to output a door opening/closing signal, a detection unit 20 to detect the door opening/closing signal from the operation unit 10, and a control unit 30 to control the door opening/closing drive unit 40 based on the signal detected by the detection unit 20.
