METHOD FOR ADDING/DELETING/MANAGING NETWORK POLICY FILTERS ON NETWORK

PURPOSE: A method for adding/deleting/managing network policy filters on the network is provided to identify/resolve filter collision when a new filter is installed to a network device. CONSTITUTION: It is judged that at least one filter in an installed filter set is collided with a new filter(406). It is identified that a priority level of the new filter is lower than the priority level of the installed filter(410). The new filter is added to the installed filter set(414). An active filter set is identified from an active filter list and an inactive filter set is identified from an inactive filter list.
