PURPOSE:To promote the bleaching action of the photosensitive material, and to make possible to form a color photographic image having a good image quality and to reduce the processing time of said material by subjecting an exposed title material to a bleach processing in the presence of a specified compd. CONSTITUTION:The exposed photosensitive material is subjected to a color development, and then the bleach processing or a bleach-fix processing in the presence of the compd. shown by formula I. In formula I, A is 3-pyridyl or 4-pyridyl group, and a pyridine ring may be substd. The substituting group is exemplified by alkyl, aryl, aralkyl, alkenyl, acyl, alkoxycarbonyl or alkoxy group or halogen atom, etc., X is hydrogen atom, an alkali metal atom or S-A group. The compd. shown by formula I is preferably incorporated in the bleaching solution, the bleach-fixing solution or a fore bath thereof. However, the compd. may be carried over in the bleaching solution or the bleach-fixing solution by incorporating previously the compd. into the photosensitive material. |
