PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a combustion device safely usable without worrying about a leak of combustion gas even in a long-term use. SOLUTION: This combustion device comprises a combustion cylinder 2 having a burner part, a heat exchanger communicating with the combustion cylinder 2 to distribute a combustion heat generated from the burner, and a connecting plate 9 having an opening 10 allowing the combustion cylinder to communicate with the heat exchanger. A packing holding part 13 for holding the end part of the combustion cylinder 2 through a packing 14 is provided around the opening 10 of the connecting plate 9, and the packing holding part 13 is integrally molded with the connecting plate 9. Accordingly, even if the packing holding part 13 is repeatedly thermally expanded and contracted by the distribution of the high-temperature combustion gas over a long period, no loosening, dropping-out or clearance is caused, because of molded with same part and the device can be thus safely used without worrying about the leak of combustion gas by a reduction in closing degree by a crack or breakage.
