SURVEILLANCE CAMERA SYSTEM FOR ELEVATOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a surveillance camera system for an elevator capable of securely specifying a passenger by an image obtained from a camera and storing images effectively without causing waste in a recording medium of images. SOLUTION: This surveillance camera system is provided with a wide angle camera 3 for photographing the inside of a car 10 at a wide angle and a high precision camera 5 for photographing with such high resolution that allows an individual passenger to be distinguished. The image photographed by switching the wide angl camera 3 and the high precision camera 7 based on at least either of opening/closing of a door 7 of the car and the number of passengers G is recorded 100.
