An input (E) attaches to a positive direct-current voltage supply and links to a parallel circuit of supply paths (P,Pa,Pb,Pn), each of which has a series connection with a safety fuse (6), an electronic switch (7) and a detector unit (DU) (8). Output from the DU links to each associated load (2,2a,2b,2n).
