The invention provides adjustable legs (10) for pallets (52, 70) that are detachable so as to enable reuse of the legs when the pallet (52, 70) is discarded. The adjustable leg (10) comprises a hollow leg (12) that is provided with an upper lateral flange (16) adapted to support the leg (10) on the pallet (52, 70) and an outer thread (18) provided close to the upper end of the leg. The adjustable leg is further provided with a fastening ring (20) having an inner thread (22) that corresponds to the outer thread (18) on the leg (10) and another lateral flange (24). The hollow leg (16) is threaded in a hole in the pallet (52, 70) so that the upper lateral flange (16) sits on the pallet (52, 70) and the fastening ring (20) is screwed onto the outer thread (18) so that the ring's lateral flange (24) is contiguous to the pallet (52, 70). |
