PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable proper reception in a receiver of a DAB system. SOLUTION: In the receiver in a DAB (digital audio broadcasting) system, the data about ensemble and service are stored in a RAM (random access memory) 43. When countries represented by country identification codes or extended country codes change, the data about the ensemble and service stored in the RAM 43 are collectively deleted.
