WIRELESS LAN COMMUNICATION METHOD USING MULTI-CHANNEL, PARTICULARLY FOR ENABLING A STATION TO TRANSMIT DATA THROUGH A DIFFERENT CHANNEL IF IT LOSES IN A CHANNEL COMPETITION

PURPOSE: A wireless LAN communication method using a multi-channel is provided to be compatible with an existing MAC frame by storing channel information in a data field and using a frame with the same structure as the existing MAC frame. CONSTITUTION: The second station, which desires to transmit data to the first station, generates the first ATIM(Announcement Traffic Indication Message) including channel information for transmitting the data, and transmits it to a main channel. If the second station loses in a channel reservation competition with the first ATIM transmission, it generates the second ATIM including different transmission channel information except for the competition-lost channel, and transmits it to the main channel. The second station switches to the different transmission channel and transmits the data to the switched channel.
