PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a data generation device which a plurality of users desiring copyright protection can easily use and which can generate data in which copyright information peculiar to the user is securely embedded even if individual information and copyright information of a plurality of the users are not previously registered and managed. SOLUTION: The device is provided with copyright information acquiring means (15, 16 and 17) which acquire copyright information on an operator from an outer unit (200) in terms of non-contact, data generation means (20, 11, 12, 13 and 17) generating data based on an operation of the operator and copyright information embedding means (13 and 17) embedding copyright information acquired by the copyright information acquiring means in data generated by the data generation means.
