The fastening system for a ceiling formwork support has a crosshead (30) and a construction support (31), with the support having a head plate (22) at the top end and the crosshead fastened to the head plate. The crosshead has at least two brackets in which the head plate can swing in by the edge sections. Means are provided to block a swinging out of the head plate from the brackets when they are in their swung in state. The crosshead on the underside which faces away from the crosshead stanchions has a first flat locating face, and the head plate on an upper side has a second locating face.
