PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a roll cassette for preventing parting of a roll sheet, and a tape printing device for installing the roll cassette. SOLUTION: First of all, a pressure sensitive adhesive sheet 111 is stuck to an end surface on one end side in the width direction of the roll sheet 10 wound on a core 110. Then, a unit holder 13 is inserted from one end side of the core 110, and is elastically locked. Next, the pressure sensitive adhesive sheet 111 is stuck to an end surface on the other end side in the width direction of the roll sheet 10. A slide spool 114 is fitted in from the other end side of the roll sheet 10 while sliding the slide spool 114, and is stuck to an outside end surface of the pressure sensitive adhesive sheet 111. Then, a plate spring 118 is allowed to abut on an outside end surface of the slide spool 114. Next, respective elastic locking pieces 122 of the unit holder 12 are inserted into a through-hole formed in respective central parts of the plate spring 118 and the slide spool 114, and a cylindrical part 113 of the core 110.
