<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve precision in position calculation by allowing a spring constant k of a spring member used for position calculation for calculating the position of a moving member driven as an accurate value corresponding to an individual linear vibration motor, related to a device 101a for driving the linear vibration motor 100 that comprises the spring member for supporting the moving member so that a spring vibration system including the moving member is formed. <P>SOLUTION: The motor driver comprises a moving member forced vibration part 3a for the free vibration of a moving member of the linear vibration motor 100, a relative position detection part 4a for detecting timing at which the moving member of free vibration passes a certain fixed point (relative position), and a specific vibration frequency detector 5a for detecting a specific vibration frequency f of the moving member based on an output information Dpr of the detecting part 4a.
