PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oil filter device capable of reducing an oil leak rate during filter replacement. SOLUTION: This oil filter device is detachably mounted with a filter case 14 accommodating a filter element at the lower side of a filter base 13 connected to pipes 11 and 12. Further, shut-off valves 15 and 16 for protecting the discharge of a residual oil capable of blocking between the pipes and the filter base are interposed at a connection part between the pipes 11 and 12 and the filter base 13. Thus, before filter replacement by closing the shut-off valves 15 and 16, the residual oil within pipes can be prevented from discharging from the filter base 13 whose filter case 14 is detached, so that the oil leak rate can be reduced during filter replacement and surrounding contamination due to oil leak can be reduced.
