<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cleaning device according to the present invention, whereby the inside of an air cleaner installed on a baggage rack in such as a limited express train can be approximately completely cleaned, its cleaning efficiency is improved, and spread of dirty components such as refuse within the air cleaner to the outside upon cleaning can be suppressed. <P>SOLUTION: A cleaning device 1 of the present invention is for cleaning an air cleaner 3 equipped with a box 32 having air introduction port 31 and a fan 33 installed within the box 32. The cleaning device 1 is equipped with a case 11 locked air tightly to the air introduction port 31, an opening 12 being formed on this case 11 and connected to the air introduction port 31, a nozzle insert part 14 for inserting an air nozzle 13 for spraying pressure air into the case 11, and an exhaust port 15 for exhausting air within the case 11 to the outside thereof.
