PURPOSE: To provide a metastable austenitic stainless steel strip that is excellent in fatigue property by an index considering working history on the fatigue property. CONSTITUTION: In a Md(deg.C) acquired by an amount of martensite(Ms(%)), tensile strength(TS(MPa)) and the following equation: Md=551-462(C+N)-9.2Si-8.1Mn-29(Ni+Cu)-13.7Cr-18.5Mo, where a unit of elements is mass%, the metastable austenitic stainless steel strip outstanding in fatigue property is distinctive in that TS/Ms is 40 or less, and Md/Ms is 0.16 or more. |
