PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a countermeasure device for damages caused by animals, suppressing a maintenance cost by without using a mechanical mechanism, having a simple structure, easily installed by anyone and showing a good efficiency. SOLUTION: This countermeasure device is provided by using a tool installed as a substitute for an electric fence, etc., surrounding a farming area or an orchard by adopting a principle of an action that asterisk (*)-shaped notches (2) arranged densely on a thin plate (1) catch the feet of the invading animals like a trap, and a technical means constituted so as not to use any mechanical mechanism at all for suppressing the cost of maintenance and also enable simple installation.
