摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrasonograph, a medical image analysis instrument and method that have improved the measurement precision by optimizing a template size when a pattern patching is performed by using a mutual correlation process to medical image data. <P>SOLUTION: The image operation circuit 22 of an image operation storage section 6 selects image data for two screens from time series image data saved in an image data storage circuit 21 and performs extraction of a plurality of characteristics points that can be easily tracked in the first image data of the image data for two screens and the setting of measurement points where physical parameters are measured. Subsequently, a template of a size including a prescribed or a larger number of characteristic points around the measurement points, performs a mutual correlation process with second image data by using the template, estimates physical parameters such as the displacement of tissue and speed from the result of the mutual correlation process. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
