PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve mounting workability, while reducing cost by adopting a fastening method with most inexpensive bolts and nuts. SOLUTION: A nut storing part 18 having each of a recessed part 18A extending in the vertical direction of rectangular cross section having facing width across flats of the nut 20 and the thickness as each side so that the nut 20 having hexagonal crosssection may be stored from an upper side or a lower side and a slit 18B to be relief of a shaft part 22A of the bolt 22 screwed into the nut 20 is formed on a step mounted on a vehicle body. The nut 20 is stored in the nut storing part 18, and the step is mounted on the vehicle body by screwing the shaft part 22A of the bolt 22 into the nut 20 from the vehicle body side. At this time, a position for storing the nut 20 in relation to the recessed part 18A of the nut storing part 18 is regulated and the bolt fastening work is facilitated, and thereby it is desirable that a deepest part of the recessed part 18A have a shape in surface contact with two surfaces adjacent to the nut 20.
