<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display controller for easily controlling the movement of display in a small space. <P>SOLUTION: This display controller consists of a touch pad 103 for receiving an input through a pad face, a touch pad control part 104 and a control part 105. Then, the display controller successively detects the input position to the pad face, and concerning each input position successively detected after the first input position is detected, calculates a vector with the input position as an end point and with the previously detected input position as a start point, and decides whether an angle made by the vector at each input position and the vector at the previously detected input position is larger than a predetermined angle, and as long as the angle is larger than the predetermined angle, resets the opposite direction of the previously decided scroll direction as a new scroll direction according to the movement of each input position. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
