PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a garbage discharge device with a storage box to be automatically stopped during tilting, having improved working efficiency when there is a less loading amount of garbage. SOLUTION: The garbage discharge device comprises a tilting drive means C1 for tilting the garbage storage box 3 to a regular dump positionαof the maximum tilting angle. Herein, the garbage storage box 3 is automatically stopped at an intermediate positionθin the course of the regular dump positionαduring tilting and resumed to be tilted by operation. A control means 25 controls the garbage storage box 3 to be continuously tilted without being automatically stopped at the intermediate positionθwhen the loading amount of garbage in the garbage storage box 3 is less than a preset amount.
