PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a metal wire body from springing upward when a sheet is cut by controlling straightness as a whole of a plurality of metal wire bodies supplied in a neatly arranged state, when a process of reforming the plurality of metal wire bodies and that of rubber-coating the plurality of metal wire bodies supplied in a neatly arranged state so as to be made into a composite sheet are directly coupled. SOLUTION: A plurality of steel wires W set by a wire shape-setting device 1 are flatly and parallel arranged and directly fed to a rubber-coating device 2, and coated with unvulcanized rubber to be made into the composite sheet S. In this wire shape-setting and rubber coating direct coupling system, a wire warping adjuster 5 consisting of warp direction adjusting rollers is provided between the wire shape-setting device 1 and rubber coating device 2, and arranges the plurality of steel wires W just before being coated with an elastomer so that the wires are arranged alternately in the opposite directions for every predetermined number of the wires.
