PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently achieve a sterilization / deodorization function by high concentration ozone, to eliminate influence on a human body by reducing residual ozone, to suppress the degradation of ozone generation capacity by isolating an ozone generation unit from a treating gas passage, and to prolong the service life of a device. SOLUTION: In this ozone sterilization and deodorization device, a hydrogen storage chamber 3 is provided on cathode side of the ozone generation unit 1 by an electrochemical process and an ozone storage chamber 2 is provided on anode side separately. The device is provided with a ventilation path 6b communicated to a suction duct 5 where a treating gas is fed, for supplying the ozone from the ozone storage chamber 2, a reaction space 7 where the supplied ozone and the treating gas react, a ventilation path 10b communicated to a discharge duct 9 where the treated gas is distributed, for supplying hydrogen from the hydrogen storage chamber 3, and a residual ozone reducing space 11 on the downstream of the ventilation path.
