GROMMET-EQUIPPED CONNECTOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a grommet-equipped connector which facilitates connection of a wire harness and enables connector removal without removal of a grommet, thereby increasing workability and sealability produced by the grommet.

SOLUTION: One receiving connector 1 is secured in a through hole 3A in an inner wall 3 and a sealing lip 51 formed on the opening side of the grommet 5 is made to abut the inner wall 3. A frame member 7 having a protrusion 6 formed on its lower face is secured in the grommet 5 and the other connector 2 is fitted into the frame member 7 in such a manner as to be movable vertically and horizontally back and forth within a predetermined range. A cam 10 which is rotated by the protrusion 6 of the frame member 7 to locate the protrusion 6 at a hook part 11 during coupling is attached to the one connector 1. The other connector 2 is provided with a protruding rod 23 which during the coupling engages a stepped part 12 formed on the back of the cam 10. A plate 8 with the grommet 5 mounted thereon is secured to the inner wall 3.
