IMAGE FORMATION DEVICE AND ITS MAIN SCANNING DEVIATION CORRECTION METHOD AND MAIN SCANNING DEVIATION CORRECTION METHOD THEREOF

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To form an image without a shift in an intermediate part and a shift between front and rear pixels.

SOLUTION: The device is composed of a clock generation means, an image formation means and a clock control unit. The clock generation means generates a dot clock functioning as the reference of a pixel for forming the image. The image formation means forms the image of one page by forming an image of one line in the main scanning direction according to an image data by refering the dot clock outputted by the clock generation means and repeating formation of the image of every one line in the main scanning direction in the sub scanning direction. The clock control unit controls the frequency of the dot clock variably in the course of scanning of the one line in the main scanning direction.
