PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shock absorbing material for a seat which has high air permeability, makes temperature-conditioning air permeate therethrough easily when it is fitted on a cushion pad enabling temperature conditioning of a seat surface by the temperature-conditioning air and enables efficient temperature conditioning of the seat surface and of which the rear side shows excellent slipperiness and workability on the occasion of fitting to the cushion pad and sewing. SOLUTION: A resin 21 is stuck like scattered spots on the rear side 12 of a soft polyurethane foam 11 subjected to a film removing processing. The polyurethane foam 11 subjected to the film removing processing preferably shows air permeation of 200-380 mL/cm<SP>2</SP>/sec in the thickness of 10 mm. The size of the resin 21 at the sticking spot is preferably in the range of 0.3-1.5 mm and a distance d between the centers of the adjacent sticking spots is preferably in the range of 0.4-4.0 mm.
