PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aromatic amine derivative which is hard for the molecule to crystallize the molecule and improves the yield in manufacturing organic electroluminescent elements, and an organic electroluminescent element. SOLUTION: The novel aromatic amine derivative has an asymmetric structure. In the organic electroluminescent element holding an organic film layer composed of one layer or a plurality of layers containing at least a light-emitting layer between a cathode and an anode, at least one layer of the organic film layer contains the above aromatic amine derivative as a single component or a mixture component.
