PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide toner which can surely prevent a recording medium from winding around a fixing member while further effectively suppressing high-temperature offset of the toner in the fixing characteristics. SOLUTION: When a sheet P is passed through between a fixing belt 12 for heating and a pressure roller 20, a heater 10 heats and fixes the unfixed toner T via the fixing belt in contact with the face where the unfixed toner T is deposited on the sheet P. The nip form of the nip part N between the fixing belt 12 and the pressure roller 20 is specified to a planar form. The loss tangent tanδof the toner at 180°C is set to be larger than the loss tangent tanδat 110°C, with≥1 difference between the above loss tangents tanδs.
