PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an entrance door, which can be simply pushed down even by the old, the children or the women in case of emergency such as earthquake. SOLUTION: This entrance door 1 is pivotally connected to upper and lower frames constituting a front opening through upper and lower pivot pins, and an operating mechanism of the upper pivot pin 6 is composed of a first gear 2, a second gear 3, a connecting rod 4 connecting the second gear 3 and the pivot pin 6, a shaft 7 of the first gear 2 and a knob 9 rotatably mounted on the tip of the shaft 7. The operating part 10 of the operating mechanism is stored in a recessed part formed on the side of the interior side of the door, and a cover 11 is rotatably fitted to the edge of the operating part 10, whereby the operating part is always closed with the cover 11.
