PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a protection relay system capable of immediately solving a trouble only by the operation of a subordinate protective relay in the case of some accident in power receiving and distribution equipment. SOLUTION: This protection relay system which protects the power receiving and distribution equipment for supplying electric power to a load through a plurality of branched lines from a main line, includes a host protective relay on the main line. The subordinate protective relay is provided on each of the plurality of branched lines. A control circuit is also provided which fetches a rating excess level signal of the subordinate protective relay into the host protective relay while the subordinate protective relay operates and inhibits the operation of the host protective relay, therefore even if there occurs some accident in the power receiving and distribution equipment, the problem can be removed promptly only by the operation of the subordinate protective relay.
