The machine includes a motor (1) with an output shaft for driving a first roll (10) for driving an endless grinding belt (60). A second guide roll (20) and a third guide roll (50) extending parallel to the first roll are mounted in a support structure (20, 25). The second roll can be moved outwards using a spring device (46) into an end position at a radial distance from a midpoint of a triangle defined by the three rolls. The second or third roll can be moved to a given distance from the triangle to allow the machine to be adapted to different circumference grinding belts. The motor is supported by an undercarriage (2) which keeps the motor shaft horizontal when resting on the ground. The support structure can be pivoted relative to the motor so that the angle relative to the vertical plane for grinding part of the part between the second and third rolls can be altered by changing the angle of the support structure relative to the horizontal plane. |
