PURPOSE: A shielding apparatus is provided to effectively measure the partial discharge by compensating for the noise through the balanced bridge system. CONSTITUTION: A shielding apparatus comprises a shielding unit(100). The shielding unit includes a shielding chamber(110) for accommodating a power device(10) as an inspection object, wherein the shielding chamber includes an outer shielding layer(110a) having a grounded end, and an inner shielding layer(110b) electrically insulated from the outer shielding layer; a first coaxial cable(120a) having an end connected to the power device, a shielding line(121a) grounded to the inner shielding layer of the shielding chamber, and the other end connected to a British national connector(BNC) terminal(160); a coupling capacitor(130) for performing a charging operation in accordance with the partial discharge generated from the power device, and detecting and outputting a partial discharge signal by discharging; and a second coaxial cable(120b) having an end connected to the coupling capacitor, a shielding line(121b) grounded to the inner shielding layer of the shielding chamber, and the other end connected to the BNC terminal.
