<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide fermented food obtained by inoculating beans with Tempeh without removing hulls and hypocotyls from the beans; and to provide a method for producing the fermented food. <P>SOLUTION: The fermented food is obtained by the following process: cooking soybeans (S104), inoculating the cooked soybeans with Tempeh(S105), and fermenting the resultant soybeans (S107).
