PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enrich game contents and to play a game according to the skill of a player himself by making the timings of starting and stopping variation display irregular.

SOLUTION: This game machine comprises: a lapsed time measuring means 50h for measuring a lapsed time from the time of attaining a variation starting condition for starting the variation display of identification information to the start of the variation display; a variation display time deciding means 50J for deciding a variation display permitting time for permitting from the start to the stoppage of the variation display of the identification information according to the measured lapsed time; and a variation display means 50k for performing display variation of the identification information within the variation display permitting time based on the decision.
