A method for cutting or perforating a continuous feed material has the cutting/perforating roller (10) pressed onto a main pressure roller (1), over which the material is fed, by a second pressure roller (11). The cutting roller and second pressure rollers are positioned via spacer discs (13, 14) at each end of the rollers, and the two rollers are mounted on a support frame (19) and aligned with the main cutting roller ands the material feed. This provides a simple adjustment of the cutting action.
