<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a receptor gene which controls plant growth, and to provide a technique for controlling efficiency of the plant growth by controlling expression of the gene. <P>SOLUTION: A protein which comprises any one of proteins (a) and (b) and a gene which encodes the protein are provided, respectively, wherein the protein (a) is composed of a specified amino acid sequence, and the protein (b) is composed of another amino acid sequence given by one or several amino acids in the specified amino acid sequence are subjected to deletion, substitution or addition, and further is responsive to a plant growth factor PSK. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI |
