VENTILATION STRUCTURE OF EAVES SOFFIT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ventilation technology of an eaves soffit exhibiting fire protecting performance stabilized by effectively utilizing a thermal expansion material.

SOLUTION: The ventilation structure of the eaves soffit is so constituted that a ceiling board 60 of the eaves soffit is supportably fixed by using a supporting metal fitting 10 equipped with an insertion section 12 inserting the ceiling board 60, a ventilation flue 20 from an outdoor side to the eaves soffit through ventilating holes 26 and 26 or the like and a thermal expansion material 50 expanded by heat for closing the ventilation flue 20 and that the supporting metal fitting 10 is equipped with a regulation member 30 for regulating the expansion of the thermal expansion material 50. The regulation member 30 is a fire-proof material with permeability, and it is equipped with a mounting section 31 for mounting the regulation member 30 to the supporting metal fitting 10 and an abutting section 35 located outside the thermal expansion material 50 and controlling the expansion by making it abut on the expansion of the thermal expansion material 50.
