PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a navigation device capable of continuing inter-vehicle communication stably for long hours. SOLUTION: A route search processing part 116 of this navigation device 100 having a route search function for searching for a guide route to a destination functions as a first means for setting a route setting condition, a second means for searching for a plurality of guide routes to the destination based on the route setting condition set by the first means and a prescribed search condition, a third means for acquiring position information of each vehicle performing inter-vehicle communication through a physical network, and a fourth means for selecting preferentially the route guide capable of inter-vehicle communication from among the plurality of guide routes searched for by the second means based on the position information of each vehicle acquired by the third means.
