摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To sufficiently prevent deterioration of combustion even directly after an opening/closing command to a control valve, by executing ignition timing control according to the amount of recirculated exhaust gas by an ignition timing control device, for an internal combustion engine with an exhaust gas recirculation passage equipped with the control valve, and connected to an intake pipe on the downstream side of a throttle valve. SOLUTION: The ignition timing control device for an internal combustion engine is for advancing the standard ignition timing of when a control valve 14 is fully closed, by just advancing the amount of ignition timing in each engine driving state, and executing ignition. During a transit period when an engine operating state changes, the spark advance amount of ignition timing is corrected by the ratio of: the present intake exhaust gas amount into a cylinder, calculated based on the present opening of the control valve 14 and the present intake pipe pressure; and the intake exhaust gas amount in a stationary state.
