PURPOSE: An alternative energy generating system by using gravity of a vehicle is provided to cut down expenses by generating and accumulating electricity with storing energy in traveling the vehicle, and to prevent environmental pollution by minimizing harmful materials in braking. CONSTITUTION: An alternative energy generating system comprises a power train unit installed in the road for converting motion energy of a vehicle traveling on the road into rotation energy; an energy storage unit(200) storing rotational force through the power train unit with a spring; a gear unit(300) having a flywheel(301) and supplying rotational force stably with elastic force of the spring in the energy storage unit; and a generating unit(400) generating electricity by receiving power from the gear unit.
