PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an xDSL line accommodating mechanism capable of easily changing connections at the time of xDSL subscription and changeover. SOLUTION: Subscriber's loops 101 to 106 for serving as transmission channels from the subscribers' premises to station houses are accommodated via a MDF1. Splitters 2 of the xDSL separate the loops taken out of the MDF1 into telephone lines 101b to 106b and the xDSL loops 101a to 106a. Telephone exchange networks that are not shown accommodate the telephone lines 101b to 106b via the subscriber exchanger 3, while DSLAM apparatuses 51 to 53 accommodate the xDSL lines 101a to 106a via a line switch 4.
